The Bunny Barn - A purpose built space that is warm, dry, well ventilated and secure for outdoor rabbits and guinea pigs.  Each Rabbit hutch can accommodate one or two bunnies comfortably.  The Guinea pig hutches are also very spacious.  The hutches are custom built to enable us to create the perfect housing for individual needs & larger groups if necessary.   All our 'Barn Guests' have the use of outdoor runs for plenty of exercise and fresh air. 

 The Garden - is South facing with stone built walls, mature shrubs and trees.  It is completely enclosed with plenty of fresh grass for nibbling.  We have never used pesticides or non organic products in the garden so the area is completely animal friendly.  All of our guests that can use outside runs will be able to enjoy this quiet & secluded area.

FRESH VEG 

It goes without saying that all of our boarders love 'Fresh Greens'.  We endeavor to provide a regular supply of seasonal greens and the occasional carrot top for everyone during their stay at 'Bunny Camp'.  All treats are given in moderation & are sourced when ever possible from organic suppliers only.

WINTER WARMERS/SUMMER COOLERS

With the ever changing weather we are are all to aware of the continuous temperature changes and the trauma this can cause our little friends.  We endeavor to predict these changes and provide our boarders when necessary with heat pads, extra straw and even 'hutch' glazing in the winter.  During those rare moments when we have summer weather we have cool pods, frozen toys, cage coolers and plenty of shade. 

GROOM AND NAIL CLIPPING

We are able to bathe and trim guinea pigs and rabbits and also to clip nails.  Nail clipping is offered free when your pet is booked into Bunny Camp for a holiday.  We are not able to clip nails for other pets. 

BONDING PETS

This can be a tricky time for both owners and pets.  It is not a complicated process but one that can go wrong very quickly.  When your cute bunny turns into a crazed attacker and there is fur and chaos everywhere, we have found that it is best to get some assistance when bonding your animals.  Neutral territory and patience is very important.  With this in mind it can be  much easier for everyone if this attempted while your pets are staying at Bunny Camp.  We can not promise success for all bondings (as it can take longer than their stay) but we will certainly try our best to achieve a successful friendship if it is required.

SPECIAL NEEDS FOR UNWELL OR SICK PETS

We understand that with bad health and old age that some pets require a little extra care.  We are happy to take the time to ensure that if necessary any pet that needs 'prescribed medication' will receive the utmost care and attention.  With most boarders the application of medicines is quite straight forward and we are happy to do this for no extra cost.  However, we do reserve the right to charge extra for those animals that need 'a lot' of attention or special requirements.

Bathing

It is not advisable to completely wash Rabbits and Guinea Pigs unless they can be kept warm while drying.  We are able to offer this service but reserve the right to refuse, if it is considered by us to be unnecessary or stressful for the animal.
